Now Hiring Part Time Bartenders 

We are currently accepting resumes for the exciting position of bartenders at our tap room in Winters, CA. Work in an open air, scenic, reputable establishment. The bartender is the initial contact for visitors to our tasting room. The primary function of this position is to guide guests in beer selection and enjoyment, while providing exceptional customer service in a timely manner. The position is part‐time, in a fast paced, high volume, non-pretentious environment.  We are seeking an individual who is outgoing, positive, a multitasker, with attention to detail and a solid work ethic.

Responsibilities

● Provide exceptional service and perform in a professional manner at all times

● Anticipate guests needs

● Be fluent and efficient with our POS system

● Be responsible for cash handing and reporting

● Maintain clean work areas and follow daily side work and deep cleaning

● Sell and stock merchandise and to‐go beer

● Change kegs when beers run out and remove empty kegs from cold room (if barback is not present or available)

● Have an understanding of our draft system and be able to trouble shoot minor issues

● Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations regarding the service of alcohol

● Follow direction as given by the Tasting Room Manager

Desired Skills

● Must be 21 years of age or older at the time of application

● Able to pass a pre‐employment background check

● Prior bartending or server experience required

● Ability to work in a fast pace environment while still maintaining professionalism and poise

● Preferred knowledge of craft beer, Cicerone Beer Certificate preferred, will be asked to complete upon hiring

● Able to work independently or as a team

● Excellent personal skills and an outgoing personality

● Love for craft beer is a must

Physical and Mental Requirements

● Able to stand, walk, and be on your feet for 5+ hours at a time

● Able to regularly twist, turn, kneel, climb, stoop, bend, crawl, lift, and carry equipment weighing up to 55 pounds

● Able to work around noise, ability to maintain professionalism in high pressure situations 

● Able to comply with and enforce all health, safety, alcohol service standards, and personal hygiene policies and standards
