WHERE IS YOUR TAP ROOM LOCATED?
We are just West of Winters, Ca on CA HWY 128.  We are 1.3 miles west of Winters Fire Department and are located on the north side of the highway.  We share a building with Berryessa Gap Vineyards.

IS YOUR TAP ROOM FAMILY FRIENDLY?
Yes, but please keep your children close. The field adjacent is a working farm and area behind our building is a current construction worksite that is closed off to the public.

WHAT'S THE BEST WAY TO CONTACT BERRYESSA BREWING CO?

Email info@berryessabrewingco.com is the best way to ask a question regarding our tap room.  Please keep in mind our office phone is answered during office hours, Mon-Fri 9-5pm.  

 

DO YOU ALLOW DOGS AT YOUR TAP ROOM?
Yes, we’re dog friendly if your dog is friendly, including to other dogs and children.  Dogs must remain on a leash and barking dogs and misbehaving dogs will be asked to leave.

 

WHAT’S ON TAP?
We take pride in constantly brewing new and innovative delicious craft beers, as well as our staple brands.  We constantly rotate our beers on tap to ensure the freshest, latest beers are on tap at our tap room and are sure to keep a wide selection of beer styles as well as varying alcohol content.

DO YOU FILL GROWLERS?
We do fill 64 oz growlers filled on our counter pressure growler filler which purges the growler with CO2 to ensure the optimal freshness.   Currently, due to proper covid-19 protocols to keep our customers and staff safe, we are currently exchanging unmarked, good condition, Berryessa Brewing growlers only to be filled with a sanitized growler at the time of purchase.

WE ARE A RETAILER/BAR/RESTAURANT AND ARE LOOKING TO SELL YOUR BEER, WHO IS YOUR DISTRIBUTER?
We take pride in self distributing our beer to quality establishments in refrigerated trucks in our immidiate area.  Distribution in Southern and Central California is handled by Lime Ventures. Please contact our Sales Director, Curtis@berryessabrewingco.com for more information.  We also have can options available for wholesale. 

 

IS YOUR BEER GLUTEN FREE?
Our beer is unfiltered, however, we do us a product by White Labs called Clarity Ferm intended to reduce chill haze in the beer.  As it turns out, Clarity Ferm breaks down the gluten proteins resulting in a lower gluten content.  We do not advertise as gluten free and or gluten reduced.  Please see White Labs website regarding Clarity Ferm for more information on how it affects gluten in beer.

 

ARE OUTSIDE FOOD AND BEVERAGES ALLOWED AT YOUR TAP ROOM?
We no longer allow outside food or beverages other than small snacks unless prior arrangements are made.  Coolers are not allowed. The brewery and food truck sell sodas, waters, and other non-alcoholic beverages.  Outside alcoholic beverages are prohibited by law and not tolerated.

 

CAN I RESERVE A TABLE/TABLES FOR A LARGE PARTY?
We do not take reservations for tables but do ask large parties notify us prior to visit, info@berryessabrewingco.com. Tables are first come first serve and not to be held longer than 15 minutes prior to entire party’s arrival. Tables are not to be held and or used for gift and buffet tables, just what is required for seating.  We ask the majority of the large parties are customers of Berryessa Brewing co.  If the majority of your party is wine drinkers, we ask you make arrangements with our neighbors at Berryessa Gap Vineyards.  If you are customers of neither, please feel free to visit our beautiful public parks in Winters.

 

DO YOU DO WEDDINGS OR PRIVATE PARTIES?
No, not currently.

 

DO YOU HAVE LIVE MUSIC?
Yes!  We are so fortunate to have amazing live music on a regular basis but is limited during the winter and hotter summer months. You can always see who is playing on our website calendar.  Music is usually posted a month in advance. If you enjoy a band, let them know by pitching in to their tip jars and help us to keep them coming back. Please note tables are reserved for customers of Berryessa Brewing co during live music performances. 

 

I’M A MUSICIAN, WHO DO I CONTACT TO PLAY AT BERRYESSA BREWING CO?
Feel free to email info@berryessabrewingco.com but please keep in mind we get hundreds of requests and are booked at least 3 months in advance if not more.  Send your music and if the fit and time is right, we’ll get back to you!  If you don’t hear back, feel free to send another email down the line.

 

DO YOU SELL FOOD?
We do have quality food trucks every day we are open, Thursday-Sunday.  You can also find who is serving on our website calendar. We also sell gourmet snacks in our tap room.

 

DO YOU SELL WINE?
No, but our neighbors at Berryessa Gap Vineyards do.  Please note we are separate businesses and potentially have different hours as well as party policies.  We are fortunate that CA state law recently changed allowing us to co-mingle beer and wine on our outside patios, however wine is still prohibited by law inside our tap room.  Please contact Berryessa Gap Vineyards for more information regarding wine and winery hours.

 

IS THERE A PLACE TO PARK MY BOAT OR LARGER VEHICLE?
Yes!  We ask if you have a larger vehicle or are towing a boat to pull into the overflow lot to the North West..

You can always arrange a tour ahead of time by emailing info@berryessabrewingco.com or feel free to ask anytime and if it’s not too busy, we’d be glad to give you a tour.

 

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT WHEN VISITING BERRYESSA BREWING CO?
Expect a great time in the beautiful outdoors (dress for outside weather), surrounded by farmland, vineyards and orchards, with an amazing view of the Vaca Mountains.  Expect to have quality beer.  Expect great service and friendly faces.  Expect a casual environment with no televisions, outstanding live music, and limited internet/cell phone access.  Expect to meet new friends.  We’ll be expecting you!
